Mark Bennor (Nathan even shook hands and thanked all the U.S. Navy color guardsmen!) came in all the way from Princeville Westin along with representatives of the St. Regis, Marriott’s Waiohai Beach Club, the Marriott’s Kauai Lagoons, Kalanipu‘u, the Sheraton Kauai Resort, the Kauai Marriott Resort & Beach Club, and Kauai Beach Club to march in the Veterans Day parade…even saw Sherri Holcomb holding the banner, and Cheryl Brady said the Kauai Marriott Resort & Beach Club is going to do the fundraising Christmas trees again. What a great show of force. Do we do that on the food drive delivery to the Kauai Independent Food Bank, Nov. 21?
Mahalo to Joe Spanski of New Jersey who clarified the “altar” in the Holy Cross Altar Society reference (hope they sold a lot of sweet bread), and Edie Ignacio Neumiller said the Zonta Club of Kauai is moving the Eat Dessert First (tickets make great stocking stuffers) to Malasada Tuesday at the Kauai Marriott Resort & Beach Club.
