College financing presentation Saturday

LIHUE — Deborah M. Ching, principal of Ching Consulting, speaks to packed auditoriums across Hawaii on her favorite subject: Financing A Grade “A” Education Without Mortgaging Your Future.

Ching coaches students and parents on how to avoid student loan debt by securing scholarships to schools across the country.

The Kauai Board of Realtors is the title sponsor for this free college planning event scheduled for 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Kauai Veterans Center.

“Living on Kauai is expensive, and by bringing Deborah Ching to Kauai, for this free event, we are hopeful that island students and parents will receive the best insight on how to make college affordable,” said Donna Rice, president of the Kauai Board of Realtors.
