Eunice Sawako Kagimoto Dobbins Nagel, 78, of Waimea, passed away on Oct. 12, 2017, at her home in Waimea.
Born on Oct. 10, 1939, in Hilo, Hawaii, she was retired from WalMart.
She was preceded in death by parents Sawaichi and Akiyo Kagimoto, son Thomas Kagimoto and sister Evelyn Durant.
She is survived by daughters Patricia (Mark) Isoshima, Pamela Dobbins, Libby (Tomas) Sales and Margaret (Mark) Dobbins, son Benjamin Dobbins, daughter-in-law Carol Kagimoto, 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, brothers Jerry (Judy) Kagimoto, Larry Kagimoto and Harry Moriwaki, sister Karen Michal, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Nov. 18, at Cross Net Ministries Hilo at 101 Aupuni Street, Suite #147, in the old Hilo Lagoon Hotel, from 9 to 10:45 a.m., where a celebration of life will be at 11 a.m.

EC Hobron ‘Hoby’ Van Gieson II
EC Hobron “Hoby” Van Gieson II passed away at home in Las Vegas on Sept. 16, 2017. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii on July 31, 1938, and retired as an engineer from Hawaiian Telcom.
He is survived by wife Bobbie Van Gieson of Las Vegas, children Sol Van Gieson of Pittsburgh, and Sam (Wendee) Van Gieson, Lani (Al) Aranio and Kalei Van Gieson, all of Kauai; stepsons Mark Cockayne, Mitch Cockayne and Mike Cockayne of California; sisters Lenora Serrao and Martha McNichol of Hawaii Island; brothers Charles (Judy) Van Gieson of Oahu and George Van Gieson of Hawaii Island; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Nov. 5, at the Puakea Golf Course clubhouse at 2 p.m.
The family welcomes flowers but asks for no large arrangements.

Margaret Machado Victorino, 94, of Lihue, passed away on Oct. 13, 2017, at Hale Kupuna Heritage Home in Omao.
She was born on Dec. 2, 1922, in Kapaa.
She was preceded in death by husband Louis Victorino, son Steven Victorino and grandson Steven Victorino Jr.
She is survived by sons Ronald (Marie) Victorino and Patrick (Sue) Victorino, daughter-in-law Julie Victorino, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, Nov. 6, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Church, from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
The family suggests casual attire.

Julio Rodrigues, 93, of Koloa, passed away on Oct. 8, 2017 at his home in Koloa.
Born on May 15, 1924, on Kauai, he was a retired truck driver with Lihue Plantation Company.
He is survived by wife Caridad Negrillo Rodrigues of Koloa, sons Michael (Blair) Rodrigues of Las Vegas and Mark (Lachelle) Rodrigues of Kauai, granddaughter Breeze, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Nov. 10, at St. Raphael Church in Koloa from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Raphael Church Cemetery in Koloa.

Mary Kealoha of Honolulu passed away on Oct. 7, 2017, at her home. She was born on Jan. 10, 1958, on Kauai. She was preceded in death by father Alfred Medeiros, mother Lillian Santos Perreira, stepfather John Perreira and sister Louise Medeiros.
She is survived by son Shaun (Jennifer) Kealoha, daughter Roxann Kealoha, granddaughters Erin, Erika, and Emilee Paikai, brothers John Perreira Jr., Alfred (Helen) Medeiros and Wayne (Shirly) Medeiros, sisters Brenda (Butch) Durant, Elaine (Squeaky) Kealoha, Eleanor (Guy Menor) Haumea, Clara (Mel) Leasau, Donna Medeiros, Lillian (Bart) Thomas and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services over her ashes will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, at St. Raphael Church in Koloa, with visitation from 8:30 to 9:40 a.m., with Mass to follow.

Alfred Pundyke Sr. of Kapaa died at Wilcox Medical Center on Oct. 22, 2017, at the age of 94. He was born on Kauai on Jan. 11, 1923, and retired from Lihue Plantation Company as a heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by wife Eleanor Castro Pundyke, parents John Sr. and Helena Pundyke, daughter Dorine Sakamoto, great-granddaughter Ashley-Kristin Gorospe. and son-in-law Alfred Hornos Jr.

Andres Rogelio Vallesteros Cadiente Sr. of Hanamaulu passed away in Texas on Sept. 21, 2017, at the age of 65. He was born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on Nov. 21, 1951 and retired from Lihue Plantation Company as a mill operator.
He was preceded in death by brother Federico Cadiente Jr. and granddaughter Julieanna Rae Alfano.
He is survived by wife Eden E. Cadiente, children Margaret Ann (Renato) Hammond, Ferdinand (Kristel Joy) Cadiente, Maria (Levi) Berton, Andres Rogelio Cadiente Jr. and Candice (Dimitri) Hernandez, grandchildren Aaliyah Wehilani Cadiente-Numazawa, Catira Cadiente-Berton, Kristofer Baggay Cadiente, Haven Koa Hernandez, Luke Giovanni Hernandez and Titus Lee John Berton, siblings Erlinda (Prisco) Ancheta, Gorgonia (Rodger) Barr, Merlinda (Manny) Catbagan, Corazon (Elsa) Cadiente, Fortunato (Aida) Cadiente, Roberto (Lydia) Cadiente, Dennis (Eileen) Cadiente and Warlito (Gina) Cadiente, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
