Thank you, editors, for the excellent Forum, Oct. 25. I hope everyone reading this goes back and finds that page.
Two of my favorite columnists, Gary Hooser, local and a good man, and Georgie Ann Geler. You present your case so well, Gary. It hits that spot in our heart that hurts so during these awful times.
Forever wars, Georgie? Endless wars for profit. It’s called fascism, a disgusting economic structure, Mussolini must be laughing in his grave. I called it by name to a person, who said, “That’s what we used to call it.”
And I replied, sweet as honey from a bee, “A rose by any other name …” Don’t think she got it.
Fascism and its supporters disgust me.
Gary, this is where our tax dollars go. Why? Because it makes the rich richer, the poor, the innocent and the helpless dead.
And, since I’m being so frank, I also state: Trump and those who support him disgust me.
Sadly, the two, Trumpsters and fascists, go together.
