Priscilla Lagadon Coloma Andres
January 8, 1931 – September 20, 2017
Priscilla Lagadon Coloma Andres of Kalaheo passed away peacefully at Wilcox Medical Center on Sept. 20, 2017, at the age of 86.
Born on Jan. 8, 1931 in Honokaa, Hawaii, she was a former official supervisor for Koloa Sunshine Market.
She was preceded in death by her husband Pelagio Andres, parents Florencio and Dionicia Coloma, brother Ciriacio, sister-in-law Nancy Coloma, sister Janet and brother-in-law Leoncio Casamina Sr.
She is survived by her daughter Diane (Tony) Melchor, son Jeffrey Andres and daughter Norma (Clyde) Hori, grandchildren Tyson (Samantha) Melchor, Kendrick (Rachel) Melchor, Diandra (Ryan) Melchor, Kristy (Kelly) Hadama and Titus (Denise) Hori, great-grandchildren Kelson and Kayden Hadama, hanai great-grandchild Payton Toki, sister Connie (Samuel) Cadacio, sister Nena (James) Barrientos and brother Dominador (Vivian) Coloma and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Please join our family in the celebration of life on Friday, Oct. 27, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo at 8:30 a.m. Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Kauai Memorial Gardens. The family graciously requests no flowers.
Funeral arrangements were made by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary and Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Arthur ‘Gordy’ Gilbert Cano
Arthur “Gordy” Gilbert Cano, 62, of Lawai, passed away on Oct. 11, 2017, at his home.
He was born on Oct. 4, 1955, in Los Angeles. He was a butcher with the Makaweli Meat Company.
He survived by wife Carol Fernandez Cano, daughters Jana Cano (Chad Ragsac) and Sierra Cano, son Jeremy (Rosalie) Fernandez of Maui, mother Eleanor Cano of California, brothers Paul Cano of California and Rueben (Cheryl) Cano of Maui, sisters Pauline Johnson (Jim Danich) of California and Linda (Ross) Renner of California, grandchildren Jaela and Ayanna Cano Ragsac, Cory, Brandon and Sienna Fernandez, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by father Paul Cano.
Services over ashes will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo at 9 a.m., with Mass to follow. The family requests no wreaths. Other flowers and leis are welcome.
Andy Leroy Reuarin
Andy Leroy Reuarin of Lihue passed away on Kauai on Oct. 14, 2017, at the age of 65. He was born in California on Oct. 28, 1951, was a Vietnam veteran with the U.S. Army, was the owner of Andy’s Auto Body and a soccer coach.
He was preceded in death by wife Geri, sister Estrelia Lohmeier and brother Rufino Visaya.
He is survived by children Sonya Ortiz, Kimie (Kevin) Cabreira, Andy (Robin) Reuarin Jr., Rina (Jonathan) Wong and Ace Reuarin, 20 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sisters Gloria Dela Cruz, Soli Antonio and Pauline Rosas, brothers Tony Visaya, Efren Visaya, Art Veloria and Rick Searcy, and numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 21, at Aloha Church, with viewing from 11 a.m. and services celebrated at 12:30 p.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
