Saturday, the Lihue Raiders took a 13-0 win over the Hanapepe Colts in flag football, followed by the Kapaa Eagles blanking the Kekaha Titans, 28-0.
Keona Tam peeled off an 11-yard touchdown run for the only score in the Hanapepe Colts 6-0 edge over the Kekaha Titans in the Mitey Mite division Sunday.
Kamu Santiago scored two touchdowns on runs of 20 and 15 yards, respectively, and had a fumble recovery in the Koloa end zone to lead the Colts to a 32-0 win over Koloa under the running clock triggered by Santiago’s fumble recovery in the Junior PeeWee division.
Connor Mulikin had a successful point-after kick following Santiago’s 20-yard score, and Iziah Henderson added a 20-yard score with Isaac Ulanday closing the day with a 55-yard touchdown.
Koloa Junior Varsity redeemed the JPW loss when Hekili Dizon and Greg Manintin each scored two touchdowns to lead Koloa JV to a 33-0 win over the Titans.
Dizon pulled in a 13-yard pass from Manintin and added a nine-yard scoring run for his TDs, while Manintin kept the ball for a one-yard charge to paydirt and closed the day with a 20-yard scoring keeper. Joey Sams added the fifth score on a 24-yard run, and Haka Bukoski kicked a PAT and ran one in for the final math.
Nainoa Melchor had scoring runs of four and 15 yards and Colton Neumann kicked two PATs to lead the Kapaa Eagles Mitey Mites to a 16-6 edge over the Lihue Raiders in the final match of the day, Lihue’s Jonah Javinar pulling in a 66-yard pass from Kailer Chow-Agor for its score.
The JPW Lihue-Kapaa match will be re-scheduled.
