Hawaiian expands New Zealand fights

LIHUE — Hawaiian Airlines is expanding its New Zealand service with up to five nonstop flights weekly between Auckland and Honolulu starting in March, when the carrier’s route celebrates five years, the carrier said in a press release.

The greater year-round frequency comes in response to strong demand. More than 260,000 passengers traveled the route since 2013.
