Volunteers sought for Kalalau Trail work

KALALAU — Volunteers are needed for annual bushcutting along the first two miles of the Kalalau Trail.

Friends of Kalalau will be holding three work days on Saturdays througout September and October, with work beginning at the Kalalau Trailhead at 8 a.m. Bushcutting work usually continues through about 2 p.m. and carpooling is available.

Dates for the bushcutting season are: Sept. 23, Oct. 14 and Oct. 28.
