Beverly KamLun Kahalioumi
Beverly KamLun Kahalioumi of Hanapepe, formerly of Hilo, passed away in Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital on Aug. 12, 2017, at the age of 77.
She was born in Waimea, Kauai, on Oct. 2, 1939, and retired as a bartendress in Hilo.
She was preceded in death by husband Dickson Kahalioumi and daughter Audrey Akuna.
She is survived by sons Bernard Lancaster of Hanapepe and Michael Lancaster of Hilo, hanai sons Kensworth Kahalioumi of Waikoloa, Keenan (Pua) Kahalioumi of Hilo, Kristen “Bully” (Taralee) Kahalioumi of Kona, Darrel “Hatsu” Constantino of Hilo, daughters Stephanie Iwai of Eleele, Ermine Akuna of Eleele, Doreen (Wayne) Millare of Eleele, Naomi (Terence) Wakuta of Kapaa, hanai daughter Kiehm Kahalioumi of Kona, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, brothers Eddie Taniguchi of Anahola, Nicolas “Jumbo” (Nancy) Taniguchi of Waimea and Lani Akuna of Oahu, sister Elsie Kali of California, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private family services were held.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Margie Daenos Andres
Margie Daenos Andres, 59, of Eleele, passed away on Aug. 4, 2017.
Born on Feb. 22, 1958 in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a certified nurse assistant with Garden Island Healthcare Center.
She was preceded in death by father Felix Daenos Sr., mother Melchora Daenos and brother Romeo Daenos.
She is survived by husband Gaudy Pindao Andres of Elelee, son Mark Anthony Daenos (Jennifer Tambio) Andres of Arizona, daughter Marjorie Ann Daenos Andres of Arizona, brother Felix “Vicky” (Josie) Daenos Jr. of Philippines, sisters Lilia Daenos of England, Loubella (Federico) Miguel of England and Merliza (Rajid) Portugalite of Eleele, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Sept. 2, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo, from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
The family suggests casual attire.
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
