Congratulations to Keiko Napier of Blu Umi and Japanese Grandma’s Kitchen on a great sold-out Kauai Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours in Hanapepe!
Liko (Keith Yap described him as a Westside mouse) was beside himself, scurrying between legs and tables in search of dropped morsels of food — that is, until he discovered Santa’s table where they actually fed him.
Lawton Sugihara was amazed with the transformation of the area that he thought was going to be turned into a parking lot, and Chantal Zarbaugh (she even found some nice sunglasses in Blu Umi) and Denise Roberts already have gears going for a “women’s event” since the place can accommodate about 60 people comfortably.
Randy Francisco was busy helping wherever needed help, and Thomas Nizo did a great job setting up the audio for the comfortable outdoor setting while Liko flitted between scrounging food and Keiko’s arms for carrying.
Julie Kim of First Hawaiian Bank was able to visit one of her clients after parking (good thing PS&D was closed, Joyce Vidinha), and kudos to the Kauai Chamber of Commerce team of Mark Perriello, Carol Manera Texeira and Anna Baudouin (this one was in her part of the woods) on a great evening!
