Central Pacific Bank has appointed Russell Rodriguez to vice president and neighbor island region manager.
In his new position, Rodriguez is responsible for leading a team of professionals able to meet and exceed the specific financial needs of the communities within the designated regions of Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island.
He is accountable for achieving sales, service, and profitability goals of the designated region.
Rodriguez has 10 years of experience in the financial industry. He was previously with Bank of Hawaii, where he served as vice president and personal banking manager.
Rodriguez has a bachelor of arts degree in economics from University of Hawaii, Manoa and a master of business administration degree from Texas A&M University.
He is also involved with the Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce, Waiakea Lions Club and a student adviser for Junior Achievement of Hawaii.
