KOLOA — Maluhia Road, from the Tree Tunnel to the Ala Kino‘iki Road junction, will be closed on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The road closure will allow community groups to do their annual cleanup of the “Gateway to the South Shore” in preparation for the annual Koloa Plantation Days.
In addition, the Roads Division will be doing center line striping.
During the road closure, traffic will be diverted to Piko, Omao and Koloa roads.
The Tree Tunnel beautification project is spearheaded by the Poipu Beach Resort Association in partnership with community organizations.
Anyone interested in the cleanup is encouraged to call the PBRA at 742-7444.
