PRINCEVILLE — The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas will host its ninth annual Charity Golf Tournament on June 25 at the Makai Golf Club.
Proceeds will benefit local charities. The fee is $125 per player, which covers cart rental, green fee, gift bag and luncheon. Shotgun start is scheduled for 8 a.m.
The tournament format is a four-person scramble.
There will be hole-in-one prizes on the par 3 holes, including a $25,000 cash prize. There will also be contests for longest drive and closest to the hole, as well as lucky drawing at the “19th hole.”
Also part of the event is the ninth annual Charity Golf Tournament Golf Ball Drop, which will also benefit local charitable organizations.
For each ticket sold, a ball will be dropped over a hole on the Makai Course from a helicopter, and owner of the ball dropped closest to the hole will win the grand prize.
First prize for the ball drop is $1,500. Second prize is $1,000, and third prize is $500.
