Graduation ceremonies scheduled

Some of Kauai’s finest and talented young minds will be graduating within the next couple of weeks, starting today, on island and on Oahu. Here’s a look at high school commencement ceremonies:


• Kapaa High School 5:30 p.m., Kapaa New Town Ball Park. 216 seniors are graduating. 

• Kauai High School, 5:30 p.m., Vidinha Stadium. 234 seniors are graduating.

• Waimea High School, 6 p.m., school front lawn. 128 seniors are graduating.

• Kula Aupuni Niihau A Kahelelani Aloha, 9 a.m., school campus.


• Kawaikini Public Charter School, 11:30 a.m., school campus. Two seniors are graduating.


• King’s Christian Academy. Four seniors are graduating.

• Hawaii Preparatory Academy, May 26, 10 a.m. Castle Gymnasium. Two seniors from Kauai are graduating.

• Saint Louis School, May 27, 1:30 p.m., Blaisdell Arena. Two seniors from Kauai are graduating.

• Kamehameha-Kapalama, May 28, 6 p.m., Blaisdell Arena. 36 seniors from Kauai are graduating.

• Ke Kula Niihau O Kekaha, May 30, 4:30 p.m., Kekaha Harbor House.

• Kauai Christian Academy, June 2. Three seniors are graduating.

• Island School, June 3, 5 p.m., Samuel W. & Edith K. Wilcox Gymnasium. 28 seniors are graduating.
