Noji Jamomo
Noji Jamomo of Kapaa passed away at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital on April 20, 2017, at the age of 18. She was born in the Marshall Islands on Nov. 27, 1998, and graduated from Kapaa High School.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Newia Jibon-Aron.
Noji is survived by her parents, Tino and Hersi Jamomo; brother, Kestay (Alexandria) Jamomo; sister, Tina (Yoshi Jibi-Erakdrik) Jamomo; nieces and nephews, Lexster Jamomo, Esther Jamomo, Randy Jibi-Erakdrik, Jasia Jibi-Erakdrik, Tom Jibi-Erakdrik and Yoshi Jibi-Erakdrik).
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 5, at Aloha Church with viewing from 9 a.m. and services celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Lihue Cemetery.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Jamomo family with arrangements.

Bernard Oliwa Kanahele Sr., born on June 16, 1964, on the island on Ni’ihau, passed away on May 3, 2017, at the age of 52.
He is preceded in death by Oihana Leimana Kanahele and Evaline Kanahele.
Bernard is survived by his wife, Diane H. Kanahele of Kekaha; sons, Bernard Oliwa Kanahele Jr. of Kekaha, Darion Kaleiho’omaikai Pheiffer, Allan Kaleionalani (Nawai) Kahale, and Dana Drew Kalanianehiilani Pheiffer; daughters, Tracyann H.K. (Hopate) Vakameilau of Kekaha, Chassidyann K. Kanahele of Kekaha, Katelynn K. Kanahele of Kekaha, Kaleilehua Atay, and Kelly Waialohakahokuloa; brothers, Kalei (Kuuipo) Kanahele of Hanapepe, Pomaikai (Kapua) Kanahele of Ka’awanui and Keli’i (Allison) Kanahele; and sisters, Tuti Kanahele, Doreen (Lauae Kanahele) Naleieha Kanahele, and Pu’uwai Kanahele.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with services to follow. Burial will take place at the Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested and flowers are welcomed.
