LIHUE — The Lihue United Church Sweets and Sweet Things event is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lihue Parish Hall, 4340 Nawiliwili Rd., behind King Auto Center.
“The Lihue Parish Hall is nearly 100 years old,” said Janie Crane of the Lihue United Church. “Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used for church renovations.”
Valentine gift items include handmade jewelry, baby quilts, blankets with pillows, clothing, bags and clutches, miniature air plants, created stuffed animals, homemade baked goods and other food.
