RSVP launches supplies drive

LIHUE — Kauai RSVP, an organization sponsored by the Agency on Elderly Affairs, announced the launch of its school supplies collection drive for students in need at Koloa Elementary School.

The items being collected include one- and two -inch binders, crayons, No. 2 pencils, colored markers and composition tablets.

The school supplies can be dropped off Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Agency on Elderly Affairs. The office is at the Lihue Civic Center, Pi‘ikoi Building, Suite 330. The last day for drop-offs at the LCC is Jan. 20.

Donations toward this effort will also be collected at Times Supermarket at Kukui Grove Center on two consecutive Saturdays, Jan. 14 and Jan. 21 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
