Hooser right to try and protect people
It is hard to believe that so many have questioned Gary Hooser’s efforts in trying to protect the health and welfare of our citizens.
We should be thanking him for his service on the council, and his not being re-elected is a major loss to all of us. I am grateful he will not be silenced and continues to fight for our interests in spite of the ignorant unjustified remarks of some our island people.
The rest of the council, excepting Mason Chock, are too interested in the money that Syngenta spreads around the island to gain support of their business practices that have bought our local politicians to turn a blind eye to what is happening.
It just proves once again that money is first and foremost in the minds of so many, this is sad and so very wrong.
Now that we have been told state is in control of our county decisions we must let our governor know that we will not rest until he will protects us from a foreign entity using our islands for their financial gain ignoring our basics rights of protecting our health.
