Happy Camper for Nov. 7, 2016

Kathy Leonard (did she get to hear Not My First Rodeo?) said KnuknFutz is very addicting after discovering thegame at the Concert Fest fundraiser for the Kapaa Middle School Ukulele Band and Chorus (they even made it tothe Veterans Day parade!), Saturday at the Hilton Garden Inn at Wailua Bay. Nicole Balbarino got so involved, she was engrossed in playing the new game when shoppers tapered off at herbooth, and even got one to take home after the event. KnuknFutz is a result of Deanna Knox of Dallas, Oregon, who doesn’t normally swear, but words came outfollowing a game with fellow Oregonians Shelley Bruney of Warrenton, Oregon, Nancy Rosendahl of Newberg,Oregon, and Linda Katzberg of La Pine, Oregon. These ladies met each other here on Kauai through Mary Lardizabal (she’s really appreciative of the HiltonGarden Inn for letting them use the property) and became friends. They developed the game over a period of fivemonths that arrived in Oregon just 10 days before the Concert Fest so they decided they would unveil it here(makes a great holiday gift — check out www.knuknfutzgames.com).
