Kim Medeiros gets top KAGRA honors

Kim Medeiros earned All Around Cowgirl honors when the Kauai All Girls Rodeo Association announced its year-end results which include totals of all the rodeo events hosted in 2016.

Medeiros finished with 186 points to claim the honor, with Coryssa Silva accumulating 157 points for Reserve All Around Cowgirl honors.

En route to her year-end total, Medeiros topped the dally team-heeler category with 47 points over runner-ups Amber Kaonohi and Shannie Wong who tied with 35 points each. She also finished third in goat tying with 44 points, being edged out of second place by a mere five points.

Medeiros also topped the steer undecorating class with 52 points.

Silva was tops in the 1st D of 3D pole bending at 52 points, and topped the 1st D of 3D barrel racing at 50 points.

Goat Tying: Kira Pimental (50 points), Kiara Ruiz (49 points), Kim Medeiros (44 points).

Barrel Racing, 2nd D: Pat Hashimoto Ferreira (27 points), Shan Wilson (26 points), Alohi Blackstad (23 points).

Barrel Racing, 1st D: Coryssa Silva (50 points), Casera Silva (35 points), Robin Medeiros (33 points).

Steer Undecorating: Kim Medeiros (52 points), Marti Snyder (43 points), Coralyn Murayama (40 points).

Pole Bending, 1st D: Coryssa silva (52 points), Cheyanne Tannery (40 points), Sandra Akita (24 points).

Pole Bending, 2nd D: Coralyn Murayama (33 points), Elise Silva (26 points), Wailana Blackstad (25 points).

Pole Bending, 3rd D: Shan Wilson (41 points), Tracy Vierra (40 points), Pat Hashimoto Ferreira (29 points).
