LIHUE — Pua Loke Street, from Haleko Road toward the Department of Water, will be closed Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., to accommodate the DOW’s 13th annual Make a Splash Festival.
Only local traffic for businesses in the area will be allowed.
There will be limited customer services available at the DOW while the Make a Splash Festival is in progress. Water bill payments will be accepted throughout the day. However, the Water Resources and Planning Division will not be processing water permits until after the event.
The Make a Splash Festival is an educational event for Kauai’s fifth-grade students, held at the Pua Loke Arboretum.
