Mary Williamson said Dr. Binney was so busy being the event director of the triad of bicycle activities last week, he did not even have a chance to ride. He made up for this by riding his bike during the Bark for Life event while Mary did the doggie walk and took part in the fun and games after the walk.
Kudos to Diann Hartman (did Hina win the Most Ripped contest?) on another great event (even the golfers wanted to know what was going on).
OK, go help Patti Ornellas “fill the track” for the Relay for Life of Kauai’s North Shore — is Josie Pablo is going to that event on Aug. 14 since the Mahelona Hospital only walked at the Hanapepe event? Denise Wardlow and her crew from the Westin Princeville will definitely be there, and is Bev Pang going to be helping?
Another round of kudos to Jen Chahanovich (it was a pleasure to meet up with Bruce, too) and her Wilcox Hospital ‘ohana on the Kids Summer Fest (didn’t even have to leave the property to do this event)! Dr. Cedric Akau (his wife’s family is from the Taniguchi ‘ohana from Makaweli) got to come visit, and Sadie Hudnall was trying to see if she could take in the Taste of Hawaii, Sunday.
