Delpidio ‘Sonny’ Labuguen
Delpidio “Sonny” Labuguen of Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii, went home to the Lord on May 18, 2016, at the age of 83. Born on May 12, 1933, in Kilauea he was a maintenance worker at Wilcox Memorial Hospital.
He was preceded in death by parents, Esteban and Maria Labuguen; brothers, Jimmy, Elpidio, Eugenio Labuguen; and sister, Caroline Agbisit.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Cresencia Maglinte Labuguen; daughters, Delia (Ricky) Hamada, Monica Labuguen; sons, Patrick (Peggy), Robert, Darryl (Leane), Brian and Delphin Labuguen; sisters, Rosamilla Sagmaguen, Helen Relacion, Rosita (Ben) San Miguel, Gloria Aqui; brothers, William (Bing) Labogen Arnold (Linda) Labuguen; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, May 27, 2016, at Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church, Kapaa.
Visitation at 8 a.m., Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m., burial to follow at Saint Catherine’s Cemetery.
Family suggests casual attire.
