Congratulations to Gerardo Loera and Ruth Perez (you have to hear her pronounce this name!) just got engaged at Salt Pond! The couple was with Ken Martinez (remember him from the Nawiliwili Yacht Club?) at the Multiple Sclerosis Sunset Stroll Saturday.
Forrest Glen Owen was at the Kapaa Beach Park with ET, his albino rooster who hasn’t learned how to crow, yet. But Forrest said he’s still young.
Katie Beer (she has her ‘ohana, Bob Beer, Susan Scheller and Paul Kollitz from St. Paul, Minnesota in town, and they won a bunch of prizes!) said the MS Walk people are grateful for the ‘Ohana Christian Fellowship group for working with them at the Sunset Stroll.
The ‘Ohana Christian Fellowship people set up the tents and prep the park, the MS Walk takes place, and everything gets cleaned up and ready for the Easter sunrise service.
Ed Kawamura needs new shoes after losing the soles to the ones he had (see what happens when you work too hard?), but said he’ll be ready for the petting zoos they set up with the Marriott hotels for Easter.
