Over at the Kauai Marriott Resort and Beach Club, kudos to Bill Countryman and his staff on doing several worthwhile community events for their “full house” of guests. Wednesday, Shana Andres coordinated the Any Soldier Care Package event (even Kaupena Kinimaka and Guy Higa were working, and someone recognized David Ball on Facebook).
Sherri Sanchez Holcomb (kudos on a great craft fair Friday!) said she was busy setting up another event which Bill and the other associates came to immediately following the Any Soldier Care Package (Dickie Chang just missed having the last few packages packed) event.
Fay Rapozo discovered that her classmate from the Kauai High School Class of 1964 rocks after seeing Gary Fujioka’s jewelry created from Kauai seeds. The Marriott fair was only his second since starting to do the jewelry.
Annette Hashimoto, on the other hand, is a pro in full swing after doing the Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital, the Ben Franklin, and many more after the Marriott event.
