Gilman Naopua Apo
Gilman “Aping” Naopua Apo of Kekaha passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on October 24, 2015, at the age of 69. Born on June 30, 1946, in Waimea, he was a painter with Kauai Test Facility.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Apo; sons, Clynt (Jasmine) Apo of Kekaha, Gilman (Desiree) Koani of Oahu, Jordan Koani of Oahu, and Clifford (Cheri) Matsusaka of Kalaheo; daughters, Gilanne Apo of Kekaha, Sheree (Franklin) Martis of Washington, and Margolyn Koani of Oahu; 18 grandchildren; mother-in-law, Shizue Matsusaka; brothers, Bernard (Sandra) Makuaole of Kekaha, Mitchell (Laverne) Apo of Oahu, Lani “Kaeo” (Debbie) Apo of Waimea, Clifford Apo of Waimea, Roy (Petra) Apo of Nevada, and Hartwell (Judy) Apo of Lawai; sisters, Katherine (Dennis) Eastman of California, Annie (Julian) Lacro of Waimea, Dalphin (Gordon) Tremaine of Oahu, Daphne (Jim) Newman of Washington, and Sandra (Henry) Silva of Hilo; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Gilman’s Life will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Waimea Plantation Cottages, Managers House. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with services to follow at 11 a.m.
The family suggests casual attire and flowers are welcomed.

Joseph ‘Joey’ Conrad Kauahi Jr.
Joseph “Joey” Conrad Kauahi Jr. passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on October 29, 2015, at the age of 37. He was born on November 19, 1977, in Waimea, Kauai and was an Antenna Rigger with PMRF.
Joey is survived by his wife, Heizel Kauahi; sons, Ayson Kauahi of Hanapepe, Kauai and Aidan Kauahi of Hanapepe, Kauai; daughter, Allysa Kauahi of Hanapepe, Kauai; father, Joseph Conrad Kauahi Sr. of Kekaha, Kauai and mother Cheryl (David) White of West Virginia; brother, Keith Kama Kauahi of Kekaha, Kauai; sisters, Crystal Kanani (Richard) Graham of Sandy, Utah, and Leilani Kauinohea Tucker of West Virginia; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel on Saturday, November 14, 2015. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with an 11 a.m. Mass and burial will be followed at the Kekaha Public Cemetery.

Dolores Quartero Yaris
Dolores Quartero Yaris of Makaweli was born on February 20, 1937, and passed away at KVMH on October 5, 2015, at the age of 78.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo B. Yaris; daughter, Stephanie M. Tupou; and numerous sisters and brothers.
Dolores is survived by companion, Randall Bray; sons, Alfred A. Yaris of Missouri, Tarrance Yaris of Kaumakani; Nelson (Ronni) Yaris of California, and Joseph Yaris of California; daughter, Amorita (Patrick) Apilado of Kaumakani; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Moses (Kayo) Lopez of Makaweli; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held at the St. Theresa Church in Kekaha on Saturday, November 14, 2015. Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. with Mass to start at 11 a.m.
Flowers are welcomed.

Evelyn Agcaoili Pascua
Evelyn Agcaoili Pascua of Puhi, Kauai, passed away on October 5, 2015, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, at the age of 53. Evelyn was born on November 30, 1961, on Kauai. She was raised in Camp 7, Eleele, and graduated from Waimea High School, Class of 1979. Evelyn graduated from Cannon’s Business College on Oahu and Kauai Community College in Business. She was also formerly Miss Gumil Hawaii in 1980.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her father, Manuel B. Agcaoili.
She is survived by her husband, Ludi Pascua, of Puhi, Kauai; two sons, Michael Agcaoili and Jordan Pascua, of Puhi, Kauai; two daughters, Cherish Pascua, of Washington State, and Krystle Pascua, of Puhi, Kauai; her mother, Erlinda Agcaoili, of Puhi, Kauai; brother, Rey (Amy) Agcaoili; and nephews, Reyson, Reygan and Rey C. Agcaoili, of Lihue, Kauai; as well as numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel, in Koloa; and again, on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at St. Raphael Catholic Church, in Koloa, from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Borthwick/Kauai Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
Theresa A. Fune
Theresa “Aunty Terry” Fune passed away at Wilcox Hospital on October 31, 2015, at the age of 74. Born on October 9, 1941 in Kapaa, Kauai, she was a child care provider.
She is survived by her husband, James R. Fune; sister-in-laws, Cathline Broyles, Rose Fune, and Lillian Arruda; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews.
A celebration of Aunty Terry’s life will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapa’a. Visitation will be from 9 to 9:45 a.m. with Mass to begin at 10 a.m. and burial to follow at the St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
