Murayama top KAGRA cowgirl

POIPU — Just four points separated the Kauai All Girl Rodeo Association All Around Cowgirl and the Reserve All Around Cowgirl.

Coralyn Murayama was named the KAGRA All Around Cowgirl, earning a total of 177 points over the six events held throughout the year. Murayama also earned top honors in the breakaway roping with 41 points and finished second as the dally team header with 43 points, just two points ahead of Wailana Blackstad.

Kim Medeiros was named the KAGRA Reserve All Around Cowgirl with 173 points, including garnering top honors in steer undecorating with 42 points, goat tying with 56 points and filling the No. 2 spot as dally team heeler with 58 points.

Cheyanne Tannery, finishing with a tie in the 1st D of pole bending with Coryssa Silva, was presented the Frank Medeiros Memorial Buckle for having the fastest breakaway time at 3.49.
