Kilauea resident and North Shore holistic health clinic owner Bob Turchyn,was awarded Professional Herbalist status recently by the American Herbalists Guild.
“This is the culmination of 10 years of formal study and clinical practice. I am excited and honored to be part of an organization whose members are leading the way in herbal research and practice,” he said.
The AHG established its professional certification (RH) as recognition of competency in botanical medicine and is the only peer review organization in the United States for professional herbalists specializing in the medicinal use of plants.
