Kudos to the County of Kauai (Office of Economic Development must have been involved because Nalani Brun, Randy Francisco, and Bradford Kaeo were there) on the second Small Business Fair and Business After Hours (Carol Manera Texeira had a whole crew of beauties helping her with registration).
Sandi Kato-Klutke was busy networking with Jackie Kanna on a new logo, and Laurie Ho (she was busy distributing fliers Wednesday at the Culinary Market in Kukuiula with Johnny Gordines) made it in time for the Mark Oyama grinds.
Eric Nordmeier of WorkWise was reminding people of their upcoming job fair in October, and Lori Naone of Kaiser Permanente is getting ready for the opening of their facility in early 2016. Santa, aka Phil Worwa, said they just had a neighborhood potluck at the Weliweli Park and the base is getting ready for another disc golf tournament.
Greg Askew should have had some Ono Pops for the vendors and even Coach Bobby Ayonon (he was there for the Filipino Chamber of Commerce) couldn’t get the air conditioning to work…doesn’t Peggy Lake of the Kauai Community College OCET have a course on AC repair?
