LIHUE — The County of Kauai and the Kauai Chamber of Commerce are hosting the second Small Business Fair and Business After Hours: Effective Strategies for a Successful Business.
The event will be held on Thursday, Sept. 10 from 2:30 to 7 p.m. at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall.
There is no charge to attend the Small Business Fair, which runs from 2:30 to 5 p.m.
To attend the Business After Hours portion of the event, which follows the fair, admission is: Chamber members, $20, and non-Chamber members, $25.
Presentations will be made by two successful business women including Jen Chahanovich, president and chief executive officer for Wilcox Memorial Hospital and chief executive officer for Kauai Medical Clinic, and Lani Weigert, executive director, Hawaii AgriTourism Association.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to discuss the various aspects of running a business and the myriad of opportunities available to businesses with representatives from a number of organizations.
Door prizes will be given out with a grand prize of a two-night stay at the Cliffs at Princeville.
