Labor Day breakfast helps youth

LIHUE — Proceeds from the 37th Labor Day Breakfast will benefit the Kauai Association United Church of Christ Youth Ministries.

“This is the Kauai island association,” said Jewel Asai, of the Lihue United Church. “Proceeds help the youth with their camp and other youth gatherings throughout the year.”

The breakfast is hosted by the Lihue United Church at its Parish Hall, located behind King Auto Center, from 7 to 10 a.m. on Sept. 7.

Tickets are $6 donation for adults and $4 donation for keiki 5 to 11 years old. Children 4 years old and younger are admitted free.

Tickets are available from any church member. The church office is at 4340 Nawiliwili Road in Lihue, or at the door.
