Kalaheo — There will be a free public showing of the 2013 documentary “Seeds of Time” at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 8 in the cafeteria of the Kauai Community College Campus Center in Puhi.
The 75-minute film takes viewers on a round-the-world journey with agricultural pioneer Carey Fowler as he works to collect and preserve the world’s seed diversity so they can be stored in the Svalbard Global Seed Vault in Norway in case of an agricultural catastrophe.
The movie will be shown as part of a lecture series sponsored by the National Tropical Botanical Garden and Kauai Community College.
