PACIFIC MISSILE RANGE FACILITY – The public is welcome at the annual “America’s Most West Freedom Fest 2015” celebration at the Pacific Missile Range Facility, Friday, July 3. Gates open at 4 p.m. The event will be held on the beach near Shenanigans restaurant.
Hawaii bands Not My First Rodeo, and Mana’o & Company with Bruddah Walter will provide music and entertainment, culminating with the national headline act, Dishwalla. The event also includes a 15-minute fireworks display starting about 9:45 p.m., as well as carnival rides and games, food and craft vendors.
Admission is free for this family-oriented event. Guests should enter the base through the south gate entrance just before mile marker 29 off Kaumualii Highway. Free parking will be available on base and visitors are reminded that all vehicles will be subject to search. No outside food or beverages, coolers, tents, pets, weapons (including knives of all types), drugs or personal fireworks are allowed. Motorcycles welcome.
Due to increased security requirements, attending adult visitors are asked to have a valid identification card with photo with them. Children under the age of 18 are not required to have identification. An example of accepted identification would be a driver’s license or State of Hawaii ID card.
