Kudos to the Planning Department on its Pop Up campaign (there were a couple of guys heading to the bowling alley who did a selfie for Instagram Thursday). Was good to see Jim Guerber (he likes doing these type of public things) and Larry Feinstein who was busy getting ready for the Kauai Challenge Cup.
Kudos, too to Laurie Ho, Roy Yamakawa and all those volunteers who made the annual Ag Awareness event another success … Stephanie Iona was worrying since Sandi Kato-Klutke needed a camera out in Wailua while Stephanie was in Eleele participating in the Kauai Habitat for Humanity’s Eleele Iluna blessing.
New to the event, Matt Stevenson had three goats available for students to check out as he spoke about livestock. This was one of the new stations along with Ann Hennessey (those cow premiums were really popular with the students) and the Hawaii Dairy Farms.
