Happy birthday to Chef Judy Capertina of Haole Girl Croissants who celebrated her special day Saturday (she was waiting for the Kauai Community Market to end so she could get down to real celebrating).
John and Daphne McClure are both excited because Chef Judy is working with the Moloaa Bay Chocolate to create a line of pasteries using “single origin Kauai chocolate” for the Garden Fair (is Amber McClure coming home?) coming up April 18 at Kauai Community College.
Kudos to Laurie Nakama (they even had Katie Beer walking), Joy Ortiz Zimmer, Cindy Edralin, Gen. Mary Kay Hertog, Krystal Morinaka and all the hard-working (even Therese Jasper came out to help at the silent auction) volunteers on putting on a great Sunset Stroll MS Walk (Matthew Kawamura had to ditch early because he was going to the Kauai Fashion Weekend event) Saturday!
OK, still no score sheets from Saturday’s Game 2, but the coconut wireless said it’s all right to go check out coaches Larry Ephan and Hank Ibia at Hanapepe Stadium for the KIF baseball game.
