The Kauai Historical Society will present a talk story with Pat Griffin from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lihue library.
Griffin is the author of “Lihue: Root and Branch of a Hawaii Town.” The 384-page book chronicles Lihue’s history in picture and words. She will talk about the town’s environment and the people who helped shape it.
