• Lachlan “Lucky” Ventar Sr. is a retired Kauai beautification and parks supervisor as well as former reserve police officer. Thursday’s article, “Son of self defense,” stated otherwise.

• A story in Tuesday’s Garden Island should have said there would not be any immediate shutdowns of visitor accommodation providers.
