Easter egg hunts start Saturday

LIHUE — Easter is right around the corner and the Historic County Building and Waimea Canyon School are getting ready.

Both places are hosting the Times Supermarkets’ and Big Save’s 58th annual Easter egg hunt so keiki can scavenge for eggs in Lihue and on the Westside prior to Easter Sunday, April 5.

Kids from ages 1 to 10 are welcome to join in the egg hunts, which will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at both locations.

Free Easter egg hunts will also be put on by King’s Chapel at the Vidinha Soccer Field at 4 p.m. on Saturday and at the Hanapepe Football Stadium on April 3.

Kids will also have the chance at the Anahola Baptist Church from 1 until 2:30 p.m. on April 4 and at War Memorial Convention Hall at 10 a.m. April 5, hosted by New Hope Kauai.
