All are welcome to experience the ancient tradition of Japanese tea ceremony from the Urasenke Kauai Kyoukai Tea Association at the Lawai International Center on April 11.
The event will be at the Hall of Compassion, a hand-carved structure true to 13th century architecture built with the hands and hearts of masters from Asia and volunteers from Kauai.
There will also be a talk story time with the volunteers who worked on the Hall of Compassion following the tea ceremony. Light refreshments will be served.
Reservations are required due to the availability of seating.
