Grove Farm is celebrating Valentine’s Day with “Tren del Amor” on Friday.
Festivities run from 5 to 10 p.m. and will feature train rides on Hawaii’s oldest locomotive “Paulo,” also known as “The Train of Love.” Besides the ride, the event will feature a laser light show, music and live entertainment and food booths.
Music and lights will bask the track as the train travels across the old employee parking lot on Holeka Road across from the sugar mill.
Organizers are expecting around 1,000 people for the celebration. Guests are allowed to ride the train as many times as they wish.
The event is free but donations will be accepted.
