Team Lihue youth basketball split its series Thursday at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center during the county’s Division I Boys basketball series.
In the third match, Kaiwa Grubb and Alakai Gonsalves combined for 22 points to lead the Aloha State Warriors A to a 40-6 win over Papalina B who got five points from Hans Burkman and one from Damon Johnson.
Grubb finished with 12 points and Gonsalves tallied 10 points for the Aloha State Warriors A.
Team Lihue A beat Hanakila B, 31-28, behind eight points from Jonathan Mostoles and seven second-period points from Marique Manera.
Mike Navarro had six points on a pair of treys, one in the opening period and the other in the second frame.
Cole Taba fueled the Papalina A drive with a pair of treys toward his game-total eight points and Maka Shigematsu dropped 10 points in the 32-7 showing over Team Lihue C, who got five points, including a fifth period three-pointer.
