KAPAHI – The public is advised that a portion of Kahuna Road in the vicinity of the Akulikuli Stream Bridge will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday. The closure will allow the contractor Imua Landscaping
KAPAHI – The public is advised that a portion of Kahuna Road in the vicinity of the Akulikuli Stream Bridge will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday.
The closure will allow the contractor Imua Landscaping to cut and remove a large albizia tree located along the county right of way.
While the work is being done, motorists will need to seek alternate routes.
Area residents wanting to access the upper portion of Kahuna Road will be detoured around the work area on Kawaihau Road over the Kapahi Bridge.
There is a 3-ton weight limit on Kapahi Bridge.
