LIHUE — Asher Mangold nailed a 40-yard free kick in the 48th minute to give Kapaa High School’s junior varsity girls soccer team a 1-0 win over Kauai at Vidinha Stadium on Thursday.
In the boys match, the JV Red Raiders and Warriors played to a 1-1 draw. Kapaa’s Michael Dewitt nailing a cross from the leftside in the 58th minute. Noah Schmidt scored Kauai’s goal on a free kick.
