Bombing survivor to speak Sunday

A woman who grew up in the Middle East will speak on her life and spiritual encounters at 9 a.m. Sunday at Breath of Life church in Lihue.

Samaa Habib, together with Bodie Thoene, wrote “Face to Face with Jesus: A former Muslim’s Extraordinary Journey to Heaven and Encounter with the God of Love.”

Born to a large Muslim family in an Islamic nation, Habib “came to Christ in her teen years and endured regular persecution for her faith yet stood firm in her beliefs,” a release said. She will share her story of surviving a terrorist bombing during a church service.

She is studying in America and shares her faith.

The public is welcome to hear her speak Sunday.
