Business fair on Thursday
LIHUE — New and existing business owners who would like to learn how to develop effective strategies for a successful business are invited to attend the Small Business Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear a panel of successful Kauai business owners share their stories: Jeff Sacchini, Living Foods Gourmet & Café; Johanna Ventura, Waipa Foundation; John Ka‘ohelauli‘i, Sole Mates and Hawaiian Checkers.com; Kamika Smith, Smith’s Motor Boat Services, Inc.; Kristal Muhich, Kauai Juice Company; Lori Cardenas, Aunty Lilikoi, LLC; and Morris Wise and Chris Spinosa, Papalua Island LLC dba Hula Baby and Ko Bakery.
Representatives of various organizations that focus on assisting businesses with different aspects of running a business will also be available. Additionally, a number of Kauai Made and Kauai Grown vendors will be at the fair.
The event is sponsored by the Kauai Workforce Investment Board and Kauai Youth Council and the Office of Economic Development.
