The Kauai Rural Health Association will hold its annual meeting 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Kauai Community College OCET Room 106 C/D.
The meeting is open to the public and will target health providers and their staff, especially those working the front line. The meeting agenda includes guest speaker Ray Paler from the Hawaii Health Connector on the topic of “What Health Providers and Their Staff Should Know About the Affordable Care Act.”
A panel discussion and a question and answer session will follow. Continuing education credits are available through a self-study guide approved by the human resources and services administration which will be available at no charge to the first 50 attendees. Association business including membership recruitment and board elections will commence immediately after the presentation.
Light refreshments will be served.
