Students awarded scholarships

PRINCEVILLE – The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas Gabriel Abrams of Princeville and Aaron “A.J.” Cummings, Jr. of Kilauea, will each receive $1,500 through its scholarship program.

Cummings, a recent graduate of Kapaa High School, is interested in becoming a civil engineer and will attend Feather River College in Quincy, Calif. His mother is Lani Cummings, senior marketing services coordinator at The Westin Princeville. Abrams is currently enrolled at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He is pursuing a career in education. His mother, Mele Abrams, is a Kid’s Club Attendant and yoga instructor at the resort.

The annual scholarship funds are raised through year-round, resortwide efforts by Westin Princeville staff. 

Associates of The Westin Princeville, their children and grandchildren are eligible to apply for the annual scholarship.
