The family fun event on the first Saturday of each month runs 5-9 p.m. It includes special deals in shops and restaurants. There are also crafts for sale and street musicians providing a lively, festive atmosphere.
1st Saturday has turned into one of Kauai’s most popular attractions. More than 1,000 visitors are expected to shop, dine and stroll streets while enjoying the sights and sounds and getting great deals from local retailers.
It’s been called a town block party not to be missed. It’s crowded, sure, but it’s a blast.
And Kapaa, by the way, was recently named one of the prettiest town in the U.S. by Forbes magazine.
