LIHUE – Non-HI5 recyclables will not be accepted at the Kauai Resource Center Feb. 13-14. The service will be temporarily suspended to allow the contractor to have a safe staging area for the facility’s roof repair work.
Residents are asked to take their non-HI5 recyclables to the Kauai Recycles drop bins behind Kmart or any of the other drop bin sites.
Businesses with non-HI5 recyclables should take their loads to Garden Island Disposal (GID), 2666 Niumalu Road in Lihue.
