The business is billed as “energizing the body’s own healing potential.”
Owner Khoa Thai, who goes by “Kevin,” believes that applying pressure on the foot to these reflex areas can promote health in the corresponding organs through energetic pathways.
“In the Vietnamese tradition, the session begins with the soaking the feet in a wooden bucket of water and herbs, sessions can be done fully clothed, first doing reflexology on the feet then following the meridians through the entire body,” according to a press release.
Reflexology is an ancient form of bodywork. The underlying theory behind reflexology is that there are reflex area’s on the feet that correspond to specific organs and other parts of the body.
Benefits reportedly include reduced pain, relieves stress, released blocked energy, increases circulation and relaxation.
